Hey Gang,

I'm taking advantage of a rainy day here, to let you know what's goin' on this week.

Well first of all we'll be at Symposium this Sat. on the 26th. Looking forward to that, I've been bogged down with that cold/flu thing for the last couple of weeks, just startin to feel good again and can't wait to make some music with you all. Ron Woomer will be joining us on Sax for the evening and we'll get cha primed for hidin' Easter Eggs!

Our regular Saxman, Doug Hill, will be makin' the big bucks, playing with the Cruisers Down in Rehoboth Beach for the weekend and getting ready for his CD release party at Aloise's on April 9th. The Doogie Hill Project's "Doogie's House" features Doug's Jazz band performing both originals and covers. Please check it out by clicking here!

D.C. family member Nate Skiles will be performing on Leno tonight March 23rd with Amos Lee.  Nate played guitar and trumpet with us from the time he was 14 till he went to collage and recorded on our Somethin's Happenin' CD.  Nate's going to continue to tour with songwriter/performer Amos Lee. They will be touring with Bob Dylan around the US for the next 2 months, than Japan and Europe. Go Boy!!!

Now to answer the two questions everybodies been asking about the Blues Brothers photo in the happening section article last week about "Sponsorships for Lancaster's Blues Courtyard Concert Series" . " Who'd I borrow the suit from?"

answer: I actually own it, bought it at Salvation Army years ago. It usually takes someone to die for me to wear it. But I'll do it for a publicity stunt. Now the hat was courtesy of Jimmy Phipps from the great "Blue light Special band"

Question # 2. "Were you wearing long pants?"

answer: sort of..

Many thanks to Steve Davis for his photography work and  friendship help and support. He's a great musician and graphic artist. Please click here to find out more about him.

Now back to the Concert Series, we have one last week of getting sponsorships, so if you want in, please contact me a.s.a.p. Things are lookin good and we are getting all the bands lined up. This is going to be so much fun we're psyched!!! we'll announce the schedule in a week or so. visit the web site by clicking here.

Look at the time -I have to go meet with some new sponsors and take care of the paper work.

We'll see ya at Symposium!

See ya soon!

Much love,

Dave
